Skilgannon Appreciation

Just wanted to make a post in admiration of "White Wolf" and "The Swords of Night and Day". It's my first time reading them and I am totally engrossed. About 2/3rds through The Swords of Night and Day and I just don't really want it to end...

I've been working my way through as many of Gemmell's books as I can and added to this, I just so happened to read "King Beyond the Gate" in between the Damned books, and I had no idea how well they would synergize.

It feels like I'm reading a greatest hits anthology almost, but in a completely novel and original way.

Loving the progression of Stavut and Alahir, As well as the tensions between Askari and pretty much everyone she encounters.

The contrasts between Skilgannon and Decado, and even between original Decado and reborn Decado. Just awesome!

That's pretty much it. I just wanted to gush over the book cause I feel like I can't put it down.
