Do I prioritise my mental health or exams.
I have for the past few months been very anxious, sad, consumed with worry and other emotions hugely due the combination of an event that took place at school that made me the subject of ridicule in multiple schools as well as the stress of exams. ( I am 16 taking my English final secondary exams GCSEs)
I am hugely consumed by both things and the worry of going to school is sometimes a lot to bear and leaves no space or desire for me to learn.
I am also afraid if I leave school now one or all of 4 things will happen.
- My parents simply will urge me to continue and not allow me to leave
- My friends and other students will gossip and wonder why i'm gone in turn drawing further attention towards myself.
- I will miss valuable tips and pointers in the lead up and during my exams
- My parents will be increasingly worried about me and be over consumed about how I am instead of prioritising their own mental wellbeing
So i request some guidance and help to help me in my next steps.
Thank you.
