I just can’t feel bad for Hope about this situation

Is it annoying that HFTF once again got shelved, yeah. Is it understandable why Steffy would focus on Eric line over hers, oh absolutely. Like anyone in marketing would understand that this would be the time to strike while the iron is hot with Eric designs, it creates a rivalry between Logan and FC, it has a chance to not only get more eyes on FC but also to completely submerge Logan with competition designs from another company being better, and this would actually be saving HFTF. You don’t send a smaller line against a big dog line, it’s like releasing a smaller scale action movie on the same day as a Marvel movie (back when they were at the top of their game). So yeah it does make sense from a business level and Steffy explain most of the top points I mentioned.

But I also can’t feel sad for Hope because she doing the same thing she did before the takeover. She didn’t bother to think of the why from a business reason and made it more personal to her. And worse this time around, she didn’t offer to help in anyway. Steffy said this is an all staff on hand project meaning she wanted Hope to offer to help similar to Zende. I’m not saying that Steffy isn’t at all making this non personal, I’m more so saying that I’m just so tired of Hope having this selfish mentality that more so focus on what she want or get out of a situation rather than how she can help others.

Like to put into perspective how self serving Hope been, Steffy has helped settled things with Dylan and Finn, gave Dylan a job, and mentor Electra during an out of town trip. Daphne has basically become a god mother to Electra. Ridge has shut down conflicts about firing Will several times. Carter has been playing babysitter/mentor for Will. Hope has…. Done nothing for anyone else. You could argue trying to get her dad out of a relationship with Shiela was for her dad but she wasn’t even concerned about the danger till last minute meaning that it was more for her hatred of Shiela. I’m not Hope is the only selfish person but I’m just tired of it from her and her “I’m a victim” mentality because I truly thought we were done with this at the end of the takeover.
