What recruiting tasks should never be automated?
I’ve been thinking about how much of recruiting is becoming more automated, and I’m curious how people here feel about the line between useful efficiency and bad candidate experience.
In your opinion, which parts of recruiting should always stay human-led?
For example:
- Initial candidate conversations
- Resume review
- Rejection messages
- Interview scheduling
- Feedback collection
- Offer discussions
- Pipeline updates
- Sourcing
I’m especially interested in where automation tends to create more problems than it solves.
For those of you working in recruiting, have you seen automation improve your workflow, or has it mostly added noise?
No links, no survey, no product promotion — just trying to understand how people in the field think about this.
