AI produced Video Essays
I don't know if this belongs here.
A couple months back a Youtube Channel popped up in the South Park Video bubble of the Internet. I think it was called Ceric Artman.
A youtuber that has been making South Park video essays for a while noticed how some of what the AI generated videos were saying, was said before by other YouTubers and uncovered that the scripts for the videos had been written by AI.
Now I've stumbled upon a YouTube channel from a different Fandom that has been making high quality videos for a couple weeks now. I don't want to mention the channel name in case I am wrong. But this is a real worry to me now. That the videos were originally "good enough" to fool me scares me. And they provide have gotten better since then. The video essays on TV Shows corner of the Internet is apparently not safe. It's such a specific space.
I'm wondering if these channels could even be financed by the marketing departments.
Just wanna hear some other people's thoughts about this.
