Camera in house

Information or Tip

I’ve been working w this family for over a year now and there was never cameras around or inside the house, until now. I wasn’t aware they were putting cameras until I walked in yesterday and seen all of them.

I’m feeling conflicted whether or not I ask about them. Because they still have yet to acknowledge that they’re right there in plain sight facing the two main rooms I’m in. It’s making me feel like there’s a lack of trust between us now and I’m confused because I was never told that I’ve been doing something wrong or need to change my ways about something.

I’ve been with their child since he was a newborn he’s 18 months now I work a few days out of the week and their 12hr shifts. The baby and I have the same routine everyday, nothing has changed. So I’m confused, why now?

When I was first hired on it was their new house and mom mentioned she wanted cameras but they never did….at least to my knowledge.

I just feel like now I have to be on my toes again my entire 12hr shift and lost all my privacy. I have free roam with the baby but idk how to feel. I’m more so bothered I wasn’t told that was the plan. I know it’s not my place to tell them not to have cameras but I feel like I lost a lack of privacy, respect, and trust. And now just trying to keep tabs on me even though I already update them on a regular basis.
