Instant Book Question For Hosts

Hey Guys,

We are still just getting into booking as hosts, we've been using it with request to book and wanted to see experiences with instant book. Request to book seems useless as is, we can't message guests back to answer their questions, and there's no way to really vet guests anyway. As well even when we accept most guests don't accept on their end either. Wondering issues with instant book, and possible scams.

I really want to approach it in the safest way I can, and still benefit from the extra visibility if possible.

As well I believe there's a way to require guests to buy damage insurance on bookings end
Does anyone use that?
