IRR vanished off contract, can't get ID

My active duty ETS date was 10 days ago. Congrats to me, the Army was okay I guess. Never did my job.

While out processing, my DEERS office told me to wait until I'd ETSed to come back and get my IRR ID. When I came back, they took my CAC because it was expired and told me they couldn't make me a new one because HRC hadn't updated my component (this is despite that I had orders for IRR until 2030 in my hand, as well as my DD214).

HRC told me that the fault was on DEERS end. DEERS says its HRC, HRC says its DEERS. In person, I explained to the DEERS office that HRC and them were both pointing fingers at each other.

At this point I'm referred to DSO, who point out that my component was never changed from active to IRR. I return to my S1 and they did the necessary records correction, which I took a picture of for proof.

I call DSO back, and they inform me that I was actually never listed as active at all, that I am not updated to be in the IRR, that the previous person I spoke to didn't read my information correctly, and that my reserve time ended in 2022 (before I even left for basic). When I asked him about my IRR time (which my current orders say I have until 2030), DSO tells me I have none.

What did I do wrong? I would really appreciate having access to groceries and gyms still, hence me pursuing an updated ID in the first place. Too many acronyms today, too many phone calls.

I'll have a patty melt and double amaretto sour.
