Most people here are trying too hard… or not at all.

I’m neither.

I’m 40s, work in wine and hospitality. I know how to set a mood, hold a conversation, and read a room—which, apparently, is rarer than it should be.

I’m the kind of person who notices small details, remembers what you said three weeks ago, and actually follows up on it.

I’m not here to waste time pretending I want a texting buddy.

I’m here for connection with a bit of tension in it. The kind where the conversation is good—but not the most interesting thing happening.
