Anyone apply with dismissed case

Hi wondering if anyone has applied with special circumstances. And how it might affect the processing times (we’ve applied priority).

I have a clear criminal record here in the U.S. on all background checks. But I have a dismissed charge from 7 years ago. Which was also expunged from my record. I wrote a letter with my application explaining it and all the circumstances. It’s not a conviction and isn’t on my record (I had two federal background checks in the last year in the U.S. and both were clear). However in an effort to address anything that MIGHT come up with what I assume is an enhanced background check, I have told them everything.

So…has anyone had any outside issues on their application and if so did they delay your decision? Or did they cause a refusal?
