Induce or not induce

I'm 39 weeks 4 days pregnant. I just had an abnormal nst due to fetal tachycardia (baby had high elevated heart rate). I got sent to the hospital for more monitoring with fluids and baby heartbeat went back to normal.

I'm only 1/2 cm dilated and my doctor is leaving it up to me to induce today or wait it out a few more days.

Wondering if anyone had an opinion or experience with this? My firstborn I had a vagina birth and fast labor after just a membrane sweep.
