I want to do something great, but I don’t know where to start.

I don’t really know how to explain this properly, but I feel lost.

I haven’t been a good student. I wasted time, performed poorly, and now I’m dealing with the consequences. Still, I have a lot of dreams, and that’s what confuses me the most.

At one point, I wanted to become a hacker. I spent time learning cybersecurity, did courses and certifications, but somehow I lost interest along the way. Now I’m doing a Statistics major, but I don’t even know where I’m heading with it.

At the same time, I dream big — like MIT, Oxford, Harvard, even Stanford. I love physics and mathematics, and I genuinely want to do something meaningful, like writing research papers or working on real practical problems. I also want to travel the world someday.

And beyond all that, there’s one simple dream: I want to build a house for my parents before I die.

It feels like I have big dreams but no clear direction, and my past failures make it harder to believe I can actually do any of this.

Has anyone else felt like this? How did you figure things out?
