Help!! Serious career advice!!

Hello guys, I'm a 12th grade Bipc student from Telangana who recently gave TS boards and i got ~97%(not much ik)...I am thinking of pursuing psychology as my major and becoming a psychologist....

I didnt have much time to actually explore many colleges for this because of my neet preparation...I'm going to give NEET and EAPCET but my actual goal is to pursue psychology....

I realised that I didnt wanna pursue MBBS because I dont think I can take that much pressure and the long study hours and long term commitment...l mean just for neet prep I am literally mentally exhausted for these past couple months so I realised I can do better in smt which I love...which is psychology

(This neet system is super fucked and it's literally a rat race atp)

But many of them are saying psychology is not that good of a career and there are better jobs in paramedical courses and other research courses like biotech...what should I doo??!!!

But I don't want to take a course which I'll regret later

So I need help in choosing the colleges and also want a realistic opinion on how the degree is and how my future will be...

Some ppl on reddit/google/yt are saying it's rly good and sm r saying it's not....

I would also really appreciate a timeline on how psychology students grow and earn good money...

I didnt have psychology in my class 12th so I would love sm suggestions on how i can improve myself...like any skills i should develop early or tips on internships and practical experience..!!

Overall, i would love some help with collages (preferably in hyd or blg cause I didnt apply for cuet), realistic guidelines and skills I should improve...
