High level stranger gift

Got a gauntlet gifted to me from a high level stranger I just met. Saw stuff about a chargeback scam so I didn’t redeem the item and I messaged Kingsisle about what just happened to try and protect me. Is there anything else I can do to make sure I don’t get banned?
