Employment law

I’m a 40 yo man, mid-level manager at a media company in Oregon. Today I was informed that a former team member of mine is suing the company alleging harassment, discrimination and wrongful termination. She was fired because of job performance issues. In the claim, this woman named me, her direct supervisor, and alleged I contacted her outside work hours and pressured her to socialize outside of work, made arbitrary changes to her schedule, commented on her appearance and attractiveness, and insinuated I wanted a romantic relationship with her. None of this is even remotely true and she has no evidence. HR at my company already investigated these claims when she originally made them internally a year ago. A company lawyer told me to preserve any communications and said I’ll have an opportunity to tell my side of the story next week. She named several other of my coworkers and made complaints that her disabilities were not properly accommodated and alleges she was fired because she complained. The management team at my company did a thorough job of documenting her behavior and I believe it shows a clear pattern that she was unprofessional and fired for poor job performance. She was fired after we followed official procedures. All documented. Plus I have several detailed reports about her poor job performance. The company lawyer clarified to me that she is not suing me. She is suing the company. Should I consider getting my own lawyer before meeting with the company’s lawyer next week or should I wait and see what happens next? It’s not the kind of media company that pays a lot of money. So I’m trying to avoid hiring an expensive lawyer unless absolutely necessary. Thanks in advance.
