Claude is reliable in the same way weather forecasts are accurate.
I asked chatGPT to crawl claude status page and calculate uptime in EST business hours. Also asked to write the whole post to roast it. Trust me, chatGPT is getting very personal here.
On paper: ~99% uptime.
In reality (during business hours): closer to ~80–87%.
Translation: it works great… just not consistently when people are actually using it.
Still technically “high availability,” if you ignore when availability is actually needed.
