Small slice in cats fur

Advice please. I found a 1” slice in the fur today. On the upper front paw. It looks clean and have dabbed it with cooled salted boiling water. He’s walking normally and didn’t flinch much when administering the water. The skin under the fur flap looks intact and pink. Just wondering if I should keep an eye on it, keep cleaning or just go to the vet tomorrow.

He doesn’t seem fazed at all about it.
