Taiwanese girlfriend questions

I met a Taiwanese girl here in US . She is a senior engineer , 37yo .

I’m 40yo(M) .

We met in this project here in the US , worked together. After weeks we started dating . Then we spent 24/7 together. Pretty intense , but I felt in love I believe.

Now , after a couple months together , project is finished , and she is back in Taiwan .

I’m sad . We keep texting at the distance .

What should I do ? Is it worthy to try to keep this relationship going? And more general question : how are Taiwanese girls in terms of expectations from a man from North America ?
