Are there seriously people who see it as a red flag to have no social media presence?

Culture

I haven’t had a social media presence for quite some time now. Like I have accounts and message people, but I don’t post anything. I just don’t like the idea of 1) centering your entire life around getting likes/clout and using that as some “measurement” of your worth in society, and 2) oversharing every aspect of your life online. I just find it intrusive, and heavily value my and my family’s own privacy. I think the normalization of sharing everything on social media has been a major contributor to the modern mental health crisis. You’re feeding so much personal data to people literally using it skillfully to destroy society.

That being said, sometimes I feel like people see me as a creep because I don’t post on social media. Particularly in a dating sense, are there legitimately people who see it as a “red flag” if you don’t regularly post online? If you aren’t constantly showing off and cosplaying as some wealthy, well connected celebrity influencer nonstop?
