PSA / Scammer Warning — Beware of this seller
Just want to put this out there as a warning to the community.
A few months ago I bought a 2-year GitHub Copilot subscription from this guy. It stopped working after just 2 months, and right after that he went completely AWOL — no replies, nothing.
I recently noticed he's resurfaced and is selling again, so I confronted him about the expired sub. His response? He blocked me.
I've attached screenshots of our last conversation along with his payment info for reference.
A quick search on Reddit also turns up other people who've been burned by him: https://www.reddit.com/r/DiveDeals/comments/1qfosmn/scammer_alert_aminebenx/
Stay safe out there:
- Never pay with crypto — once it's gone, it's gone.
- Always use PayPal Goods & Services or a legitimate escrow service.
- These scammers rely on community trust to keep finding new victims, so spread the word.
Hope this saves someone else the headache.
