So... let's go over some context and history. I've been playing d2 for a \*very\* long time, easily over 10k hours, I multiboxed p8 bnet games in 2006, made beer money farming "things" for \*cough\* types of "sites" in university. Its not the perfect game, far from it, but i have a deep love and appreciation for how d2s itemization, the grind, and the end game difficulty feels overall and i think d2 still is the golden standard for arpgs even to this day. I mean, we all are still here, right?

I used to think of myself as a purist, immediately disliking changes to my beloved game. I think resurrected somewhat softened my stance on that. Warlocks ridiculous balancing aside, I have been content with the changes made to the game so far. I know they're talking about rebalancing warlock and the drop rates for the new sunders, among other things, so I wont touch that here, but there's two QoL things I would like to see added in the future:

HORADRIC CUBE:

The cube needs a spot in the equipment side of the inventory UI. Like, its own spot beside your equipped gloves in the UI. The new stash essentially requires your cube on your person, so why not just have it be equipped like anything else you're wearing?

TERROR ZONE REFRESH:

Love terror zones as they are now, especially with the 30 minutes between, but some areas I clear in the first 5-7 minutes, and rather than sit and wait, or ng and lose my herald chain, I'll run some other zones until the next tz pops. Eventually, or usually within the hour, an area I farmed already becomes terrorized, forcing me to either lose my herald chain and NG, or wait another 30 minutes. That sucks.

What I would like to see is new terror zones repopulating an area if it was previously cleared in that session. Before yall lose your shit on me, there's a big caveat to this suggestion: it only applies once, the first time a zone is terrorized naturally, and \*only\* when naturally terrorized. So no using worldstone shards to repopulate an entire act. Any area csn only become terrorized once. The way I think of terror zones it is that hell is invading that area with its "best of the best".

Sure, this means you technically can get two kills of the act bosses in a single session, but only one kill will be terrorized, and you still have to wait for it. This just lets you keep farming non terrorized areas without worrying about an area you've already cleared being wasted an hour later, and keep the herald chain alive. Trading quick new game single zone target farming efficiency for a longer active session and more consistent herald chains in the gameplay loop.

Anyways, lemme know what your thoughts are.

After ten thousand+ lifetime hours... my feature wishlist.
