Vetting in a small town

I live in an area where there are not too many escorts that advertise. There are a few on tryst but the ones I am interested in only list a phone number and some have an email as well. They don't have TER reviews and I can't cross reference them to anything else, some list OF pages. A larger city is 3 to 3.5hrs away and there are plenty of interesting escorts that provide the information listed in the guide but adding a 7 hour drive (up & back) to a date is a bit much. I also saw one ad on Eros that was interesting but not much information, just a few pics and a phone number, no rate even given, is Eros safe?

I was thinking about contacting one of these and asking for a simple 30 min get together for a chat and a cup of coffee (like starbucks or other coffee shop, willing to pay a half hour rate) that way I can see if they are legit, ask a few questions and arrange a date if we click. Any other suggestions, very concerned about privacy and not getting tangled up in an LE sting.
