VOO vs VT?

What's your choice for long term hold and why? I know they are very different but in this forum, which is populated by plls from the US they tend to invest in VOO while rest of the world mainly in aworld ETF like VT (to spread across geographies and currencies). What's your chosen one and pls alsp justify why that choice.
