Just want to show off my almost 20yo setup... I'm very proud of it!

Been brewing espressos and cappuccinos every day with very little downtime.

Just replaced the pump for the first time a few days ago (was still the original).

In the past I've replaced other bits and pieces, namely the relay, solenoid valve, pressure stat, pressure gauge (that was my fault, forgot the machine in the car in freezing temperatures when moving once), few o-rings and washers here and there, the group insulating material, floating device in the water reservoir.

Every time it breaks, I always think, okay, this is it, not going to be able to repair it this time! Instead, turns out it's always something easy to diagnose and replace.

Only mods are upgraded no-burn steam wand, pressure gauge on the group head and added extra layer of insulation to keep the water tank and pump cool.

Made a dosing funnel out of a tin of beans, was supposed to be temporarily until I got a proper one, but years have past and never got the proper one after all.

Regarding the grinders, I got the ECM from an old coffee shop and that was a real upgrade from the Racilio. I could finally grind finer, no clumping whatsoever and very consistent shots.

Now I use the Racilio for the decaf (yes, I could get an extra bean container for the ECM, but I'm not bothered).

Thanks for reading!
