Yet SGIWhistleblowers do NOT seem upset that Russia is secretly moving missiles into Cuba

June 3, 1962, was 2 weeks before the birth of Paula Abdul. President Kennedy was preparing the commencement address he would give a Yale later that week. Later that year, Linus Pauling would receive the Nobel Peace Prize (which I’m sure Daisaku Ikeda congratulated him for during their long friendship).

Om June 3, 1962 Lawrence of Arabia ruled the box office, Ray Charles had the Number One song (but “Limbo Rock” was climbing the charts) and Mickey Mantle's Yankees and Willie Mays’s Giants were on their way to a World Series match-up.

And a periodical called The Evening Star ran a hit piece on the Soka Gakkai, calling it “ultra nationalist”.

This, of course, greatly excited the SGIWhistleblowers honcho and guru Ms. Fromage, so she reproduced it with the title that starts “News Report”, perhaps no one would notice that it is not “news” but is 64 years old and made ridiculous by subsequent events.

Thos subsequent events include the Soka Gakkai (or SGI) establishing a peace think tank in Hawaii a dialogue center in Massachusetts, an environmental lab in Brazil. It has expanded to include organizations all over the world that are autonomous, that play no political role in their respective countries. The 3^(rd) President of the Soka Gakkai in fact declared often that the heart  of the Soka Gakkai’s movement was not Japan but the United States.

I’m going to guess that this is the first n a series of outmoded, sensationalist stories from long ago that she has been alerted to by her Nichiren Shoshu employers.
