Struggling Eating

General & Miscellaneous

So was diagnosed with Autism last year and ADHD a few months ago and recently started titration.

Always had issues with body image and weight and been on the weight loss jabs for last 12 months and literally just been drinking high protein meal replacement shakes for that time.

Prior to this I would go through phases of eating the same meal for many months then can’t face that food anymore. Believe this is an Autistic trait.

Having the shakes has been so much easier for me but I just can go on living on shakes.

I’ve stopped the jabs but think ADHD meds are affecting my appetite and struggling to eat at lot. Still having the shakes but want/need to return to normal food.

Just have no idea what to eat, nothing appeals to me, things I used to crave I can’t stand anymore.

Wondering if this is something I need to see GP about.

I’m Howe in the best shape of my life - go gym 4 times a week. But it’s hard/very hard as it absolutely kills me.

I can’t sit at the table with my family. Kids are too loud and my eldest likes to show his chewed food. Which I just can’t do. So also feel this isn’t helping. That and smells from certain foods I cannot stomach. My partner for instance will make tuna for my boys and I can’t be in the same room. It’s repulsive and makes me feel sick.

Sorry a lot to unpack but not quite sure what to do.
