Arm sleeve advice

I’m getting a full arm sleeve done in June over the course of a week. After a few days of healing I’ll be returning to work. I work in a primarily cold (37°) environment as a maintenance tech. I was debating on trying to find some sort of fabric full sleeve compression wrap or something maybe to keep it protected while it heals at work? Does anyone have other advice on what all I should do or prepare for. I’m good with lotions and what not. I was just trying to think if another layer on top of the saniderm would be a good option?
