A Genie offers you 5 fishing superpowers, but with major drawbacks and you can only choose one. Which do you choose?

A genie offers you 5 fishing superpowers, but they all have major drawbacks. Which one do you pick?

1: Be able to tie any knot you want, leader, line to hook/lure, etc, in 1 second, but the time you WOULD take to tie the knot you magically aren’t able to catch any fish.(ex, if it takes you 5 minutes to tie an FG knot, you will be able to tie it instantly, but once you finish tying it in 1 sec, you can’t catch a single thing for 5 min). You also have to know how to tie the knot beforehand. Once you learn it though, it takes 3 seconds to tie it for the rest of your life.

2: See through water like glass, but only can see fish that you aren’t targeting for the day. For example, if you want to target largemouth, you can see through the water like glass but the largemouth are invisible to you. However, you can use your super vision to monitor where bluegills are, which are getting chased/eaten and therefore cast toward the action. Once you choose a (or more than one) target fish that you want to fish for they are invisible for the day and this resets once you wake back up after sleeping. You have to be honest and have to target the fish/fishes that you choose.

3: Know where your PB is, where you are fishing for the day once every month but it is geared onto one VERY specific lure. For example, once every month you get telepathically told where your PB is in the next lake/pond/spot that you were going to fish in is, but it is geared onto one oddly specific thing, like a Bone Colored SPRO KGB Chad Shad size 180 glide bait and it won’t bite anything besides that, not even a slightly different color or size. It won’t bite a White colored SPRO KGB Chad shad size 180 or Bone color Chad Shad size 179 (if that existed). This also changes every month. You don’t get notified ahead of time what they would want.

4: You get unlimited cast distance, but farther you cast, the worse your hookset power and control becomes, so long-distance bites are harder to land. This happens on a linear scale. Your 0-10 feet has a grace period of 100% hookup ratio, but drops 1% every 2 feet past that.

10 ft → 100%

20 ft → 95%

40 ft → 85%

60 ft → 75%

80 ft → 65%

100 ft → 55%

This only applies to freshwater fishing while saltwater has these stats:

SAME GRACE PERIOD

1% drop every 5 feet

10 ft → 100%

50 ft → 92%

100 ft → 82%

150 ft → 72%

200 ft → 62%

250 ft → 52%

5: Every year, you get a guarantee that at least one trophy-sized fish will bite your lure on a random date/time. That fish is always the hardest possible fight for that species in that body of water. It will find the thickest structure, maximize drag pressure, test gear to failure point. It will wrap line around docks and try to cut it. And if you lose it, your “guarantee” is spent for the year. However, if it’s a crappie, it won’t fight like a Goliath grouper, but you always magically hook up on it with the lightest possible gear that IS possible to catch it. If you hook up on a 10 lb bass, you will have max drag of 4-5 lb, 8 lbs mono, and a medium powered spinning rod.
