Why I require initial tributes

Initial tribute is crucial because it's the only thing that immediately separates you from everyone else who just talks. Anyone can say they're devoted or serious, but if you haven't sent, you haven't proven anything. That first action carries more weight than anything you could type.

It sets the tone from the very beginning. If you start by giving, you're showing you understand exactly why you're here and what your role is. If you start by talking, asking, or waiting, you're already putting yourself first, and that's not the dynamic.
