Anti assassin controller honorable mentions - Chuck, Griff, and Gale

Otis is a pretty simple guy, he practically has one star power and one gadget, a super that mutes and a hypercharge that stuns, his attack is kinda like Colt but a little wider with better burst damage. By far Otis most favorable matchups are dashers, once he mutes a Mortis, Kaze or some other dasher, not only can they not attack, they can't move either. As someone who enjoys playing Darryl, while not an official assassin he gets absolutely cooked by Otis once he pops super. Back when Darryl was S tier in the meta one of the only counters of the time was Otis.

Griff loves any aggro that feeds him and gets right on his face, kinda like Maisie Griff can be very inconsistent but hes one of those brawlers you don't want to get directly on top of especially when they have super. Griffs strongest tool is piggy bank, assassins don't like a map thats fully open.

Gale is kind of a washed goat, back in his glory days he was THE shut down to any sort of aggression. Nowadays hes still OK against a lot of assassins and is particularly good against Alli. When Gale had that hypercharge for the first time, almost no form of aggression can bypass him.

Chuck is a weird fella. Hes perceived as only a Heist brawler but hes actually not bad against aggression. While Chuck has a very weak attack, his super can be deadly if you know what you're doing. Chuck is kinda like a tank so it makes sense for him to run down aggro.

There are plenty of brawlers out there that can act like support and still counter aggression. If you want to suggest a non official support brawler feel free to do so but provide some sort of reason why they're a support. That being said a lot of support brawlers have some sort of counterplay against aggro so we got plenty of options.
