KSP w/ Mods

I played KSP years ago. And I loved it. The promise of KSP2 was amazing and obviously it never panned out. I've thought about picking up KSP again, but I really want an experience that includes ISRU, colonization, near future tech, etc. Are there some mods that add a depth and kind of turn it into a colonization and expansion game with off world mining / refueling and production?
