Bikester Global forced store credit instead of refund after approving return (even with video proof)

#Review 📝

Wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone avoid the same situation.

I ordered a GPS mount from Bikester Global. After receiving it, I decided to return it. The product was completely unused, and I even shared an unboxing video (as requested by their support team) to prove that I hadn’t opened or used the actual item.

They reviewed the video and approved the return, asked me to ship it back, and clearly mentioned that refund would be processed after quality check.

So I shipped it back at my own cost.

After they received the product, instead of refunding to my original payment method, they issued a store credit (coupon code) without asking me.

When I questioned it, they suddenly said:
“Refunds are only provided as store credit for size or fitting issues.”

Problem is:

  • I never mentioned size or fitting issue
  • Product was unused and verified by them
  • This condition is not clearly stated in their return policy
  • They only brought this up after receiving the product

So basically:
Return approved → product sent → refund method changed → new reason introduced later

Feels like they just didn’t want to process an actual refund.

I’ve asked them again to refund to original payment method, but no proper resolution yet.

Just putting this out there, be careful if you’re ordering from them, especially if you think you might need to return something.

If anyone has dealt with this before or has advice on escalation, would appreciate it.
