I am an 18-year-old girl, and I have reached a point where I am seriously questioning if I ever want to date or interact with men again. For a long time, I held onto the traditional dream of getting married and having a little, cute child of my own, but looking at the reality of this generation, that future feels like an impossibility. More than half the men today are nazi disciples. The men I see online and the thousands who support them all follow one common theme of hating women. It feels like they have a problem with everything a woman does, whether it is just breathing or walking down the street, you are constantly scrutinized or told you are "asking for it" just by existing. They are weird, misogynistic, selfish, and downright draining to be around. It has reached a point where I have no words left to describe the level of disgust I feel towards them. Previously I used to feel anger but now I just feel hollow because it's become a common theme with them.

Because of this, I have completely withdrawn from men in my daily life. The only men I interact with at all are my father and my brother. outside of my family, I do not wish to engage with them, I do not like being around them, and I do not want to be friends with them. I feel a deep sense of discomfort even being in their presence because you can never truly know what a person is like under the surface. It is terrifying to realize that a man can smile at your face, crack jokes with you l, work with you while harborng heinous thoughts or saying disgusting things about you behind your back.

People might think I’m being extreme, but I would genuinely rather die a virgin than share my life or my body with someone who views women through such a toxic lens. I often find myself holding out a tiny bit of hope that there is a decent man out there who could love me and treat me the way I want to be treated, but when I look at the actual options available, that hope feels misplaced. When one man posts something deplorable and 60,000 others like it, those aren't just "bots" those are real people that we have to encounter in the real world. The man liking the commnet could be the random guy on the bus, your co worker, your classmate. It makes me feel like the only way to protect my peace is to just stop trying entirely. I do not wish to entertain the scary min games they pull.

I’m posting this because I need to know if anyone else feels this same level of exhaustion. Am I wrong to give up on the dream of a family because I refuse to settle for the "men" of this generation? At this point, staying away from them entirely feels like the only way to keep my dignity and my safety intact.

Is it truly over chat?🥀🤡 (read)
