Kody Benjamin Sikolov is a 15 year old boy from Russia, raised in America, Jumped off a 9-story building while playing “Hold on till may” by PTV on April 6th, 2026. He was in the tcc (true crime community) which is a fandom with a trademark of idolizing mass shooters and serial killers. The tcc has inspired and glorified many school shooters and suicides, And Kody perfectly matches this description as he had posted many photos of his art of figures such as Adam Lanza , Alyssa Bustamante, and the Columbine shooters, and had his tiktok pfp as Samantha Rupnow and reposted tcc edits. But his account got deleted and unless theres an archive account, his tiktok is wiped.

The last thing Kody posted before he died was a photo of the building with a caption "selfish escape" referencing suicide. Then he began a livestream on youtube, recording his final moments alive. The song “hold on till may” started playing, as he was shaking. Once the song said "and i would rather" he waves to the camera, turns around, and jumps. seconds after a thud is heard as he plummeted to the ground.

Some people have said like “Thank God” and that he was "corny for the lyrical timing". Be as it may, people need to understand he was a child who turned 15 one month and a half before committing. who was depressed, traumatized, and didnt struggled with bullism in school.

What happens to teenagers like this is they spend the majority of their time on the internet, and easily ger influenced by what they watch. Children's surroundings are undoubtedly one of the most crucial elements in their mental health. What may seem like an attention seeker, was just a kid who didnt realize his worth which led him to go to an extreme, by recording his suicide. Though The adoration of school shooters and serial killers was terrible, this is becoming more common by each day, and it is because of the impact social media has on the adolescence. If he had gotten the mental help and treatment he deserved, maybe things would have been different. He had a long life ahead of him and it is truly unfortunate.

There are few posts and discussions about this incident because it happened 3 Weeks ago and is very recent. He has a memorial on Find A Grave. I will comment his Memorial ID In the comments.
