Where to live in Canggu for 3-6 months?

Hello everyone, hope you're having a great time in Bali

I'm about to move in a week and booked a place in Batu Bolong for a week while I look around for long term accommodation.

I'm a 21 year old remote worker, I'm more of a busy city person who is really into socializing and meeting long term travelers rather than tourists,I love craziness and constant socializing.

Especially if I can meet more young people my age, would like to reiterate that I'm 21.

I really want to be close to where all the events happen in Bali, where all the meetings happen, gyms, dance classes, social life, activities.

I don't really care about beautiful scenery, the beach, I really just love and care about meeting amazing people easily by just walking to events, maybe not a fully touristic area but close to events.

Lived in Bangkok and loved Phrom Phong due to the convenience to events and in Saigon I lived in Thao Dien which was pretty good for this too.

Hated Asok/Nana în Bangkok and the Bui Vien area in Saigon due to seediness, weird shady people, so would like to avoid that.

My budget isn't that high, simply looking for a bungalow/room in a shared villa/hotel or so for around 400-700$ give or take.

Would Facebook groups be better or will walking around in person be fine? What prices should I expect?

Any ideas on what parts of Canggu would match me?
