Moving from SGV (Arcadia) to Irvine. Question about the schools.

I’m from Arcadia and our k-12 schools here are decent, and from my experiences from k-12 schools here, our curriculum difficultly rigor mainly prioritizes to help students enter college at a csu level confidently compared to a uc. I heard that iusd schools are one of the best in California and OC, and heard that’s dang competitive and the curriculum is 🤯. How different is iusd? Does the k-12 curriculum in Irvine help students adjust more to the csu level or to the UC level? Other thoughts?
