A major fire broke out at the Gaur Green Avenue society in Abhay Khand, Indirapuram, on the morning of Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The fire was reported to have started around 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in a flat on the 9th floor. Key Details of the Incident

Extent of Damage: The blaze rapidly intensified, affecting multiple floors (reportedly between the 9th and 11th floors). While some reports suggest roughly 10 to 12 flats were gutted, official estimates indicate five to eight flats sustained damage.

Casualties: No casualties or injuries have been reported. All residents from the affected units were successfully evacuated.

Emergency Response: Over 20 fire tenders were deployed to the scene. Firefighting operations were eventually successful in bringing the blaze under control, though teams initially faced challenges due to low water pressure.

Likely Cause: Authorities suspect an electrical fault may have triggered the fire, though a detailed investigation is pending.
