Game frustration is real!
So I started playing Ghost of Yōtei and I am not gonna lie, this game is beating me up a little. I had completed Ghost of Tsushima on medium difficulty, so I thought medium on this one would also be manageable. Clearly, I overestimated myself.
This game feels much harder, especially during boss fights. So what I do now is simple, I play the whole game on medium, but whenever a boss starts destroying both my character and my self respect, I quietly switch the difficulty to easy or casual. No shame.
I am a doctor, I do not have the luxury of spending three hours proving a point to one virtual swordsman. Honestly, owning a Playstation was a childhood dream for me. When I was younger, I used to dream of having a PlayStation 3, but my family’s financial condition was not good enough back then, so it never happened.
Now that I have become a doctor, the first thing I bought for myself was a Playstation 5. So I just want to enjoy it, relax, and have fun not turn gaming into another stress-inducing responsibility.
That being said, I am genuinely loving this game. It is beautiful, intense, and really fun. Even though it is occasionally hurting my ego, I would still recommend everyone to play it.
Big round of applause to those people who play it in lethal/hard mode!
