Knights of Excalibur #4: If nothing can stop you, therefore it means that it is the nothing that will eventually stop and separate you from God forever?

Dear fellow Knights,

We last left off the time the Earth was flooded and Noah's family was set aside to repopulate the new landscape. Speaking of which, you can dig around YouTube for Answers in Genesis videos about Andrew A. Snelling, a scientist who mapped out how most likely it happened with evidence to his claims. Anyway, no one else was spared other than these 8, four men and four women. A brand new beginning?

And yet the Enemy still very much holds the cards that may trump us. They can introduce the desire to attain knowledge of morality at the cost of inflicting various degrees of injury upon other humans, to the point of bloodlust and bloodshed. Even if the human in this condition of fallenness can banish this to the unlikeliest likelihood of it ever happening, it's still not perfection, the flaw was there since Adam and Eve's fall and persists because of the uninformed choice to hurt an innocent child to the point of tortured death.

So what do the descendants do? Firstly, they spoke the same language. If you had the whole world speaking English, what need for others, even if they can be just as eloquently beautiful? You can standardise the measurements and standards of measure when united under one language. You don't need to take into account all the issues of nuances that need to leave the same impression as the original. This common language of all humans is not something to be underestimated. A one world nation, under a one world government, for a one world purpose.

And so that descendants of Noah made a pact of citizenship for themselves. Every citizen of Earth, aka what they now call Babylon, after the Tower of Babel, is obliged to contribute to the world's and possibly history's greatest project, a shining skyscraper with the most modern of technologies that they can discover until it is a breath away from God's front door. The most beautiful one possible too. And why not, since living here on Earth is not living with God up there? No, humanity must succeed, otherwise, we will have to be left with nothing but scraps of achievement in being human.

And so God decided as a Trinity to frustrate that purpose by making the speeches across the unified human race of many shades of tan and brown and facial features sound like gobbledygook, language barriers for as many what we now call people groups as they existed then. Imagine that happening today, all of a sudden, your order for a cappuccino sounds like baby talk.

Now humanity is divided up into people who can understand the language that they speak, each according to his and her kind. And with a whole planet full of animals and plants and minerals and other resources without humans, they set out to settle where they can, and accumulate as much and go as far as they can, so that everyone can attain a very good standard of living.

So why did God do this very annoying thing, not wanting them to go up to heaven by their own design? The Bible doesn't say other than that if Babylon 1 accomplished that, then nothing will be impossible for this newborn civilisation. And if there is one thing God is good at, it is at creating entire civilisations out of mere words.

Words order the mind like a street grid of a town or city, words can tell you where your home is, where to play, where to work, where to sleep, who to meet, who meets you, where to invest, how much profit to make and keep and what to leave your children and grandchildren and so on. Multiply that human experience by a then average birthrate and you'd have billions in the wink of an eternity.

What I can infer is that because of the fatal sin infection that resides like a shadowy virus, it takes its time to craft it's overtaking as the ultimate authority and that God is an expendable puppet if God doesn't do what the virus says. And if the ruler of this united civilisation falls, then what? What if the corruption cascades for the sake of money or wealth or even eternal youth? Are these not even remotely human reasons for civilisational compromise? Square the infection area by a billion homes, a billion farms, a billion cities. The Enemy would but win, and in this case, can't help but do so and so very reluctantly encloses its hands upon all of the winnings. All for a dollar's worth of effort.

I, as a Knight, see this move of God as a mercy. When we do the impossible apart from the counsel of God, even with the best intentions, we armour ourselves in diamond armor everywhere except our backsides, you can't protect as well what you can see as areas of your body you can, is it so different for this then? Consider the post and craft your own conclusions, even if they should differ in the end. I don't see the method used as perfect, for God could have told them to seek Him first instead before the Babel project but we must always beware in our aeons that the Enemy is subtly craftily diabolical and immoral and the only object in the universe that can face it is the conscience, and that is more like a king chess figure than even a rook. In this case I judge that the ends justify the means, for we today still have a chance to take down this Enemy for good, by living out the Bible we know from reading, and from storytelling, rather than the sharpest physical blade made of diamonds.

Fellow Knights, thank you for making it this far. I will tell in advance that there will be a special post for Knights next Wednesday, which I hope can become a monthly ritual, for it will be like a communion service, but this on outside of the linear scope of the Bible. For we will be exploring the science called Psychological Geography, and Astrology as one of its mapmaking tools. Have a rested and vivacious rest of the week and if all goes to God's plan, we will meet again here on Reddit. If you have read this far, you are Excalibur, be blessed.
