Am I crazy or does something feel off with gen speeds in 2v8 this time?

In most of my killer matches so far, it's consistently been like 2-3, once even 4 simultaneous (or within like 5 seconds of each other) gen pops. I know there's the whole speed up/slow down relative to gens/hooks but somethings felt a bit off this time around.

Also, as a side note, has anyone experienced any weirdness with Ghostface in after the update? In two different matches earlier, he seemingly exposed multiple people (me included) at the start of the match but was literally nowhere nearby?
