AITAH for getting upset at my roommate after petty issues

Me and my roommate are both 20, living together in a one bedroom apartment. She's a uni student and I'm living with her to split rent and help her out while working a stable job.

This morning i went out on a walk and accidentally took her pack of cigarettes. Since we smoke the same ones, and my pack that i left behind on the balcony had the same amount i told her to just take one of mine. I was got home in 10 minutes and gave her a new unopened pack (since i had already smoked some of hers) along with her favourite drink and an apology.

However she just snapped at me and told me she was going to go buy her new ones and go out.

She always does this whole passive aggressive behaviour over minor issues like this, not even acknowledging the fact i overcompenstate and am always apologetic.

Mistakes happen, i mean we both smoke the same

cigarettes i just got confused. Its not the first time she has gotten snappy at me over minor issues and has never once given me an apology for her rude behaviour, yet im constantly apologising and trying the best i can despite being stressed out from my job and tired. She doesnt even try to give me the benefit of the doubt.

Its bothering me a lot cause we've been best friends since childhood and i value and love her but i cant tolerate being treated like a villain for making a simple mistake.

Maybe she has a right to be angry, i should've payed more attention and not taken her things in the first place but did i really deserve to get treated like that by her?
