Major red flag for this Malate Academy!

Posting this as a warning and also to ask for help. My two friends (both Educ grads with ESL exp) were hired by an academy in Malate. They took the risk and traveled from the province with all their luggage, thinking they had a job waiting for them. When they arrived, the school basically admitted their incompetence: "Dapat 'di pala muna kayo pinapunta kasi 'di pa sure if may students na." No reimbursement for the travel, no empathy. They were even told they could earn ₱300 for a 5-hour TikTok live session while waiting. Wth! It’s a blatant lack of accountability. They already left that place, but they are currently in Manila and don't want the trip to be a total waste.

Does anyone know any reputable schools/ESL centers that offer free accommodation or stay-in options. We'd appreciate any referrals. Thank you, guys!
