I've never played the fantasy games only 40k so I would like to ask a few questions

which of the fantasy tabletop games is most popular (AoS, OW, etc)

will I be looked down on for basically running the most "modern" factions (i.e technologically advanced like the empire, skaven, dwarves, etc)

how similar is the gameplay between 40k and whichever is the answer to number 1

is it worth playing even though I'm pretty sure my armies would be more gunpowder than flesh (faith, steel and gunpowder babyyy)
