I hate DC's 2 biggest flagship characters.

Comics

I absolutely despise Batman. From a character perspective, he makes very little sense. I understand why being a victim of crime at a young age would make someone want to fight crime, but he refuses to treat the causes as opposed to the symptoms. His villains are crime lords at best, and terrorists/mass murderers at worst, but he refuses to kill any of them because...because...uh...because killing is wrong okay!? How is he able to function if he does billionaire shit by day, and Batman shit by night? How has he not died due to 1 competent goon with an unregistered firearm? Don't even get me started on his braindead fans and their "prep time" bullshit. He never does anything about the police system in Gotham either, which is the reason he needs to exist in the first place. His plot armor is absolutely ridiculous, because he's a member of the Justice League, and has to compete with the likes of Superman. Speaking of which...

I love what Superman was meant to be: a Captain America-style hero of the people and of humanity, whose primary goal is to make the world a better place. That being said, as a superhero, he sucks absolute donkey balls because it is impossible for him to lose. He can do everything, and do it better than everyone else (depending on the writer, of course). What is the point of having Wonder Woman and Aquaman in the Justice League if they're just Superman, but with less powers? Hell, at least Aquaman can control water. Martian Manhunter is barely better. Apparently Superman is as fast as the Flash, so like...why have Flash on the team at all? It makes 0 sense whatsoever. His 2 weaknesses, Kryptonite and magic, are mild inconveniences if the writer feels like it. How either of these characters have fans is beyond me.
