Help for a beginner Street Fighter player.

I'm relatively new to fighting games and I just got SF6.

I have put some hours in Mortal Kombat before and I was wondering if there was any important game specific tips to learn.

I tried out some characters and really liked Cammy's playstyle so I would like to stick with her.
