Game won't launch after VCO installed

Hello my friends.
After doing some digging on reddit, I discovered that a nice way to enhance the game's experience is through VCO.

Now, I'm a bit of a noob, I have never used mods before....
I was able to put VCO following instructions and started a new campaign, no problem.

That was yesterday... Today the game won't start past the first loading screen.
I've tried reinstalling VCO, validating the files but nothing seems to be working.

Any tips? 😞
