Some questions about DCF in Florida

Today I called DCF on my emotionally abusive mother and started a case against her and I’m absolutely horrified she is going to get arrested. I just need the courts to separate us for some time and possibly get us into counseling and I’m really scared she will be arrested. She’s manipulated me for so long and this was such a big step in fixing the situation and I just would like to know what the next steps are

And does DCF in Florida tend to try to help families before arresting the parent for emotional abuse?
