Dear writing community,

Discussion

I don't know why it is embarrassing to admit that I want to be a writer. No, it is not because I look down on this Godly profession, I think it's because I couldn't force myself to say that I am one when I have (quiet frankly) written nothing. I have always been in the sidelines like a sloppy one-eyed green little monster.

I am 27 with a full-time job and I am willing to dedicate how much ever it takes if I can produce something worthwhile. I know there are plenty of how-to-start-writing advices online but I want to hear from real people, real writers - what did it take for you to start? How do you keep going? How can I too?

Any advice (no matter how woo woo it is) is appreciated. Thanks.
