Hello friends!

I'm done despairing after the closure of the celebrity roleplay subReddit and I am here to post about the TV fandoms I'm interested in.

However, since I need a central idea for this post I have decided to go with a Modern Family idea. There are common themes that permeate all of my ideas. Also, some of my roles include Original Characters, I however (hypocritically I know) am only looking for people to play canon characters.

Firstly, I'm interested in romance. I love soulmate plots so most of my stories focus on our characters being soulmates (even if they're with other people canonically).

Secondly, I prefer to maintain some internal logic, so there will be no crazy shifts or changes to the characters beyond what the affair necessitates. For example, a character may cheat in the roleplay even though they were loyal in the TV Show, but they will not be a sex crazed person that loses all their moral reservations and personality.

Modern Family: Clare & Original Character.

We all like Phil but watching the show I couldn't help but feel like him and Clare were not perfect for each other.

I want to do a story about Clare meeting the perfect man for her. It will happen during that period she and Phil are not having sex, when she's feeling unsexy and neglected by him, when she's feeling old and rejected. She meets this perfect man, an intellectual who makes her feel perfect and desired.

They will start an affair, maybe he gives her a job when Jay is pressuring her to work for him and that gives them more chances to be together.

I don't know how it would develop. I'm open to them being exposed. Alternatively they can have their affair in secret for years. I'm also open to something dark where Phil dies and she tries to introduce him to her family and kids. Actually as I wrote that I realised it's a great idea so I think it would be my ideal option, but I'm open for your idea.

When you read my other ideas whenever you see Original Character think of someone like this, the perfect man for that specific woman.
