20 minutes of manual work every evening just disappeared

every night i was summarizing important email threads into Notion by hand. call it 20 minutes a day. for months i told myself it was worth it. then i started skipping days. then full weeks. by the time i needed to reference a thread, i'd lost the context i was trying to save in the first place. the manual system only worked when i had energy for it, which is exactly when i didn't need it.
